Turisztikai-kulturális projektünk

A szlovák határ melletti Letkés és a szlovákiai Bajta községek a "Kisprojekt Alap a nyugati határtérségben" Interreg V-A Szlovákia-Magyarország Együttműködési Program keretében közös turisztikai és kulturális projektet valósítottak meg "Dél-Hont turisztikai fejlesztése" (SKHU/WETA/1901/1.1/006) címmel, összesen 49996,18 euro támogatást nyerve. Az egy éves együttműködés záró rendezvénye is volt a "Letkés régmúltja" című tudományos konferencia, mely 2021. május 27-én valósult meg.

A projekt során 2020 nyarán feltárásra került a letkési régi templomnak és temetőjének egy része, majd a kutatás helyszínén emlékhely került kialakításra. Emellett a helyi művelődési házban nyíló kiállítás is új turisztikai vonzerőt képez. A múlt iránt érdeklődő letkési és környékbeli önkéntesek is részt vettek a Dél-Hont (az Ipoly két partja Ipolyság és a torkolat közt) múltját kutató projektben, így nőtt a helyiek identitástudata is. A szakmai munka nagyobb részét az Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetem és a Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem régészei, valamint a Magyar Nemzeti Múzeum egyik antropológusa és a Bölcsészettudományi Kutatóközpont genetikusai végezték. Közreműködtek a közeli ipolysági Honti Múzeum, a váci Tragor Ignác Múzeum és a szobi Börzsöny Közérdekű Muzeális Gyűjtemény dolgozói is. A turisztikai célú projekt során a szlovákiai Bajtán egy régi parasztházból tájházat alakítottak ki és a turisták által ingyen kölcsönözhető kerékpárok kerültek beszerzésre. Egy új honlap is elkészült, mely Dél-Hont turisztikai vonzerejét hivatott növelni.

Rozvoj turistickej infraštruktúry južnej oblasti hontianskeho regiónu

Obec Bajtava a Letkés v Maďarsku realizovali spoločný turistický a kultúrny projekt "Rozvoj turistickej infraštruktúry južnej oblasti hontianskeho regiónu" v rámci "Intereg SKHU Fond malých projektov pre západný región" Program spolupráce Interreg V-A Slovensko-Maďarsko (SKHU) / WETA / 1901 / 1.1 / 006).

V lete 2020 bola vykopaná časť starého kostola a cintorína v Letkési, následne bolo na výskumnom mieste zriadené pamätné miesto. Bude otvorená výstava v miestnom kultúrnom dome, ktorá je navyše novou turistickou atrakciou. Dobrovoľníci z tejto oblasti, ktorí sa zaujímali o minulosť, sa tiež zúčastnili projektu zameraného na výskum minulosti Južného Hontu, čím sa zvýšil pocit identity miestnych obyvateľov.

Väčšinu odbornej práce vykonávali archeológovia Univerzity Loránda Eötvösa a Katolíckej Univerzity Pétera Pázmánya , antropológovia a genetici z Maďarského Národného Múzea a Maďarského Prírodovedného Múzea. Zúčastnili sa aj zamestnanci neďalekého Hontianskeho Múzea (Šahy), Múzea Ignáca Tragora (Vác) a Múzea Börzsöny (Szob). V rámci projektu bol rekonštruovaný vidiecky dom zo starého statku v Bajtave na Slovensku a boli zakúpené bicykle, ktoré si môžu turisti bezplatne prenajať. Dokončila sa tiež nová webová stránka na zvýšenie turistickej atraktivity južného Hontu.

The project "Touristical development of South Hont"

Letkés and Bajtava are small villages on the two sides of the Ipoly river. Bajtava belongs to Slovakia, Letkés is on the Hungarian side of the Ipoly. The two settlements realized a joint touristical and cultural project with the name: "Touristical development of South Hont" (SKHU/WETA/1901/1.1/006). This project is implemented as part of the "Small project fund" (Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Programme). The project was supported by the European regional development fund. The scientific conference with the name "Past of Letkés" (on 27. 05. 2021.) was the closing event of the one year long cooperation.

One part of the old church and a part of its cemetery was researched in the summer of 2020 in Letkés. After that a memorial site was formed on the place of the cemetery. A new exhibition - which contains the new archeological and genetical results - opened in 2021 in the house of culture (Letkés, Dózsa street 22.). Some volunteers from Hungary and from Slovakia worked in our project. They helped the historical researching of South Hont (this region lies between Šahy / Ipolyság and Szob on both sides of the Ipoly river), and this way increased the helpers' local identity. The professional activities were done by the workers of these institutes: the University of Eötvös Loránd, the Catholic University of Péter Pázmány, the Hungarian National Museum and the Researching Center of the Humanities (in Hungarian: Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetem, Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem, Magyar Nemzeti Múzeum, Bölcsészettudományi Kutatóközpont). The workers of the Museum of Hont (it is in Slovakia, the name is in Slovakian: Hontianske Múzeum), the Museum of Tragor Ignác (in Vác, in Hungarian: Tragor Ignác Múzeum) and the Museum of Börzsöny (in Szob, in Hungarian: Börzsöny Közérdekű Muzeális Gyűjtemény) took part in the historical and archeological activity.

An other important touristical result is the new exhibition in the "country house" in Bajtava. This "country house" was made from the oldest building of the village. The settlement Bajtava bought 5 new bicycles with the support of the project. The visitors of South Hont can use these vehicles for free.

This new website was made to inform the visitors about the history, the services and the interesting and important places of our region.
